A Message from Henrico County Public Schools
We are excited about welcoming back more students in-person beginning this week! Some important notes as we look ahead.
- Starting Monday, we are welcoming back more students in grades PreK through 2! Visit this page for the full schedule of our gradual expansion of in-person learning over the next three weeks.
- Your student’s elementary school likely sent more detailed information about next week, along with posting additional information on the school’s website. Visit this list to find a link to your school’s website.
- If your elementary student will be using bus transportation, additional details that are specific to your elementary student can be located in PowerSchool via a web browser (not the app). Our drivers have also been personally contacting the families of preschool and Kindergarten students to offer a warm Henrico welcome!
- For students who are remaining virtual, there will still be curbside and bus delivery meal services, but changes will be taking effect on Monday. Visit this page to see NEW details about curbside and bus delivery meal services.
- For a “video toolbox” of some of the ways that schools will look and operate differently starting next week, visit our page dedicated to the expansion of in-person learning.
- Students who are returning in-person: Don’t forget the daily self-screening! Please go through these questions each morning before leaving for school. Also, don’t forget your mask (though our schools will have plenty of backups.)
